ReplyDeleteI laugh my balls off looking at the legal disclaimers after seeing the site before the 20th. It was two porn stars, now it's one basically saying, "I'm taking my balls and going home."
OH!!!! Go read the article from MSNBC!!! That officially makes me laugh that the link is on their website, and the whole article dismisses the whole idea as thinly veiled pandering and admonishes the site for reinforcing most of the negative stereotypes aimed at all gamers.

ReplyDeleteGoogle 'pwnedbygirls exposed'. Basically, Alana Evans got kicked out of the porn industry for being a drama-starter, so she paired up with Misti Dawn and tried to hit up some hard-up gamers.
However, Misti Dawn left the night of the release after Alana Evans had her son playing for her in the background while she mime'd an off controller.
It gets better. Misti stated that Alana Evans was stealing her general idea from another gamergirl called 'NinjaGirlRachel', who did cam shows and hosts tournaments and such. The difference is that NinjaGirlRachel hosts one of the world's most popular servers, is a well-known figure in PC FPS scene, and does charity events for kids- going so far as to give laptops and PC's away.
So, Alana, faced with the criticism of being a plagarist, launches a twitter attack on NinjaGirl. It all got back to Ninja, who apparently is well-connected with the ddossing types, and shut Alana down, hackers got ahold of her phone number, and basically just made alana evans her bitch.
Moral of the story? Some times the good guys win.
